The family car which was gutted in an arson attack in Melton

Neighbors who raised the alarm after the fire of the burning vehicle melt guttering at home in Edendale Road, Melton, early yesterday.

Police were investigating the incident said it could have consequences that are far more serious if the fire had left to get out of control.

Three cars were severely damaged, but the fourth car belonging to someone else is left untouched.

Farmer Charlie Miller, 51, who himself fled the car arson attack because it is for the service, said: “it certainly looks like we have been targeted because there are four cars parked there. They have burned our cars parked on both sides of the others, who have been touched.
